Residential Products & Services

Residential products are supplied through a number of Providers specific to your wants and needs. Many products are supplied through a B2B (business-to-business) arrangement, like lumber for a framing contractor or wire for an electrician, that is provided by a local building supplier. Other products for a given project are consumer-centric. Fixtures for a sink or lighting components, carpet, tile or other flooring products, typically require selection by an owner or tenant.

Furthermore, the residential products we provide may be supplied directly by a trade contractor. For instance, our mechanical contractors will always provide the actual equipment to be installed, such as components for heating, air conditioning, ventilation or refrigeration. Again, these products are inherently provided through B2B distribution networks which are factory-direct and contingent upon training or certification to ensure proper installation and testing.

Residential products for end-users are available from a huge supply chain. At a global scale, a client may order from places like Amazon and have their products shipped directly to the job site. But, there is also a compelling selection of “brick & mortar” Providers that have relationships with contractors and consumers alike.

While “brick and mortar” may come with a cost perceived as higher, these relationships have inherent value quite often reducing final costs simply by decreasing the opportunity for delay.

Brick and Mortar also means clients are able to visit a local business location where they may touch and feel the products being considered. Furthermore, the client, and any other service providers, can meet in-person directly with the product provider. This integration facilitates better communication, streamlines procurement and establishes a clear pathway for things like warranty assistance through a formal network where we are all aquatinted directly.

Products required vary greatly from client to client and project to project, with specific information typically included in your Project Documents or simply defined by a Scope of Work.

But, these same trades may provide a service directly to a client as well. A plumber, for instance, may install water filtration systems or replace a water heater direct to consumer.

Our residential service providers offer a wide range of experience, from roofing or plumbing leaks to landscape maintenance and painting, on through to servicing appliances, computer or other electronics, and providing assistance with security and access solutions, to name a very few examples.
